Mistletoe Cottage Nov 2017

What a difference a month makes!

The timber structure has arrived and was put up in just over a couple of days, and the roof trusses were put up in 2 days afterwards. Now, the tiles are going on the roof, and by the time of the Christmas break, the house will be watertight.

At the same time, work is going on in the garden and driveway, and the external areas are taking shape to accommodate the eco-waste system, the area for car parking and the dividing wall to lead up to the raised garden area.

We are working to a project completion deadline of mid-March (weather permitting), and that’s when the work starts on furnishing and equipping the holiday home, so that there’s everything you need for a great break.

Herefordshire is such a beautiful and rural part of England, and we’re looking forward to providing guests with a holiday home full of quirky comforts, but in an area that has so much for everyone – shopping, walking, music and arts, gardens, houses and museums, as well as many local attractions, including Hay-on-Wye – just eleven miles away.

Our first holiday bookings will take place in May, once everything has been checked and tested, and in a couple of weeks time the website will be up and running, and bookings can be done online, making the process easy and pain-free.

We will be offering a discounted introductory rate. You can sign up to be notified when we open for bookings by visiting: www.mistletoecottagekinnersley.co.uk
